Abstract

Андраник Озанян вступил в гайдукское движение с начала 1890-х годов, а с 1900 г. стал одним из его руководителей. Своей упорной и последовательной борьбой, направленной против султанского режима,он облегчил положение крестьянства в ряде районов Тарона и способствовал росту национально-освободительного движения западных армян. Andranik Ozanian joined the Haiduk movement in early 1890 s and since the 1900-s became one of its leaders. His consistent and unswerving struggle against the Sultan rule relieved, the situation of the peasantry in a number of regions of Taron and promoted the growth of the national-liberation movement of the Western Armenians.
